Ivan Aristeguieta: the 10 funniest things I’ve ever seen (on the internet) | Comedy

I loves and hates the internet. On the one hand it helps me stay in touch with my loved ones living abroad, I can do bank transfers from home and I find it very enlightening. On the other hand, it makes me fight with people I’ve never met, I’m poor because of all the junk I buy on the internet, and it makes me dumb. Happy, but stupid.

I never thought I spend most of my time watching stupid videos on the internet. If I had used the same time to learn another language, I would have already published my first epic fantasy novel in Mandarin. I hope you enjoy these videos and join me in the happy creep club.

1. Naked Tuesday at Stan

Naked Tuesday is a brilliant and very funny New Zealand film made with nonsense, with various subtitle options. You can choose one written by Julia Davis or one written by Celia Pacquola and Ronny Chieng. This makes it two completely different comic books. Recommended!

2. Kirsty Webeck’s Twitter feed

Kirsty Webeck is not only a hilarious comedian, but tweet machine! He tweets a million times a day. He’s got all kinds of silly current affairs jokes, plus tons of tweets featuring his pets Fergie and Joan. Jokes, cats and dogs – what else do you need?

3. Official Bird Anthem

I can spend all day watching funny animal voice videos. @thenatureparty on Instagram has some great ones. I highly recommend the official Bird Anthem video – it’s priceless.

4. Glyph Brawley’s cover of Bon Jovi’s Livin’ on a Prayer

Gleif Brawly is a singer and keyboardist. He is from Brazil and can cover and sing any song in the world. Especially American pop hits of the 80s and 90s. He doesn’t speak a word of English; he sings songs the way he thinks they sound.

5. What your gym schedule says about you

Tedsthetics sits in his car and shares his thoughts on everything from pizza toppings to Australian shops to coffee and tattoos. What he said is so accurate and you can’t change my mind!

6. How dog breeds fight

Jonny Devaney portrays different dog breeds in different situations. It is very impressive how it captures the essence of any gender. I had no idea comparing a corgi and a Yorkshire terrier in a fight could be so funny.

7. Music video clips without music

I mean I can’t. Very funny; very funny. The power of music in movies is underrated. It can turn a funny video into a romantic story. I can watch these videos over and over and snort every time.

8. David prepares baGuetta

Duncan Evans (AKA @curlykidlife) caught my attention when I came across one of his Instagram posts – a video superimposed over cooking videos by famous DJ David Guetta. This masterpiece is called “David BaGuetta Makes”. It is perfect.

9. Drew Lynch – Concussion

Every once in a while you come across a comedian you’ve never heard of before and instantly enjoy it. Drew Lynch was one of my great discoveries this year. His jokes are combined with an incredibly well-crafted, very chilled, endearing persona. His standup special, Concussed, is very funny.

10. Little chef show

The cutest chef on the internet is made of felt. He speaks in a silly Tiny Chef language (which I’ve almost perfected) that would make anyone giggle with sheer glee.
