Media in the Age of the Internet — Stolen But Necessary | Opinion


Trying to predict the future of the internet, or even trying to see how it will become as reliable a source of fact as old newspaper and television reports is, in my opinion, predicting the future of Kitty Hawk, NC and aviation.

As the influence of the Internet grew, older publishers wanted to move away from it. I was one of them. Although I told the Newsletter Publishers Association that it wasn’t enough to write a print story from the wire, they needed to develop products for this new media.
