Private telecom company Reliance Jio launched 5G internet service in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur on Saturday.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot officially launched Jio’s 5G internet services in these cities.
At the opening ceremony, the prime minister said that this service is a revolutionary step in the field of information technology and telecommunications.
This will further strengthen the objective of responsive, transparent and accountable good governance of the state government, he said.

Gehlot also launched Jio Glass and Community Clinic at the event.
Umesh Bhandari, President, Reliance Industries Rajasthan, said this service, full of endless possibilities, is a revolution in the telecom sector.
The company will launch its 5G service in Kota this month and Bikaner and Ajmer in February.
