CHARLOTTE, NC — Spectrum today announced the launch of Spectrum Internet, Mobile, TV and Voice services to more than 220 homes and small businesses in the Caswell County area. Spectrum’s newly built fiber-optic network in Caswell County is part of the company’s nearly $5 billion investment in underserved rural communities, which includes 1.2 billion won in the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) RDOF auction. The company’s RDOF expansion will provide broadband access to an estimated 1 million FCC-estimated customers in 24 states in the coming years.
With a download speed of 1 Gbps, Spectrum Internet Gig is now available throughout the construction site. Spectrum Internet offers an initial speed of 300 Mbps, while Spectrum Internet Ultra provides a download speed of 500 Mbps. For small and medium businesses, Spectrum Business Internet offers download speeds of 300 Mbps, 600 Mbps and 1 Gbps.
