Optimum provides both Internet and TV services in many areas in the United States.
However, many Optimum internet users are experiencing a massive outage that started a few hours ago. So they cannot use the company’s internet services at the moment (1, 2, 3).
Optimal internet is down or not working
Social platforms like Twitter are full of users expressing their displeasure with the situation. According to numerous reports, the Optimum internet service has been continuously experiencing outages in recent days.
You have to correct me that the internet went down last night and again today @OptimumHelp @optimum and I’m still getting these challenges on my hotspot.

12:03 (IST): Many users are now reporting (1, 2) that Optimum internet is down or not working for them. Moreover, reports on Downdetector confirm this.
Update 2 (May 7, 2022)
13:49 (IST): New user reports on Downdetector now show that the latest outage with Optimum has been resolved.
Update 3 (August 10, 2022)
12:52 (IST): Many Optimum internet users report (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) that the service is not currently working or that it is not working for them.
Fortunately, Optimum support has acknowledged the issue and is currently looking into it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

18:54 (IST): The recent outage with Optimum internet has been resolved as we have not come across any new reports.
Update 5 (August 17, 2022)
10:50 AM (IST): according to numerous reports about Twitter and Downdetector, Suddenlink is currently not working or not working for many.
19:15 (IST): It looks like the recent outage with Suddenlink is now resolved as we haven’t come across any new reports on Downdetector.
Update 6 (August 24, 2022)
11:10 AM (IST): Fresh reports Twitter and Downdetector shows that many Optimum subscribers are currently experiencing problems with the service.
19:35 (IST): According to Downdetector, the last intersection with Optimum has been removed.
Update 7 (September 13, 2022)
11:19 (IST): Reports on Downdetector indicate that Optimum internet is currently down or not working for many.
19:01 (IST): The recent outage with Optimum internet has been resolved as reports of Downdetector have decreased.
Update 8 (December 28, 2022)
11:19 (IST): New reports indicate that some Optimum TV and internet subscribers are currently experiencing some issues with the service.
what a surprise. 99.9% of the time a service that is not worth it. No internet again for random stretches of the day. Optimum=rubbish internet service.

09:11 (IST): Numerous reports and the Downdetector platform indicate that users of the Optimum TV app are experiencing problems (1, 2, 3). More specifically, they cannot log in using their credentials.
The Optimum team is already aware of the situation and working on a fix, but no ETA yet.
